Dr. Phebe Ding, Professor of Postharvest Physiology at Universiti Putra Malaysia, has supervised more than 67 postgraduates. With 158 journal articles and an h-index of 26, she is internationally recognized for her industry advisory roles, and contributions to sustainable postharvest practices in Malaysia and ASEAN. Currently she also serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of Postharvest Biology and Technology.

报告主要内容：

Fruit quality is strongly influenced by postharvest handling practices throughout the supply chain, beginning with harvesting and continuing through field handling, packinghouse operations, distribution, and marketing. These stages are interdependent, and improper handling or inadequate management at any point can compromise fruit quality, accelerate deterioration, and reduce marketability. Therefore, maintaining fruit quality requires an integrated approach to postharvest management, with appropriate handling practices implemented consistently at every stage of the supply chain.
